The provost is the chief academic officer of the university and has responsibility for the university's academic affairs across the Dayton, Lake, and online campuses and programs. The provost collaborates with the president and other stakeholders in setting overall academic priorities and strategies, with an emphasis on groundbreaking research and preparing students for lifelong success.
